Orca (1977)

A Hdden Gem Movie Review

After Jaws became such a huge financial hit in 1975, an array of knock offs were made. Some were fun but lacked the soul of the movie they were imitating, some were just plain awful. But there is one movie, Orca, released in 1977 that stands out from the imitators and may very well be the best of this bunch as it is a movie with heart and gives an honest attempt and recapturing the magic of Jaws. It does fall short of that, but it is a good movie, nonetheless.
